The role… 

Our Database and Analytics team within GlobalData Healthcare, Pharma is looking for an Analyst for Clinical Trials Intelligence, who has an interest, experience and passion for making incremental improvements in the quality of our databases to further the client experience. This is a highly visible position within the Healthcare Pharma division and as an Analyst your key responsibilities will be to support comprehensive database coverage and quality maintenance, client-facing meetings, conference presentations and continuous enhancements of the databases for Clinical Trials Intelligence. 

What you’ll be doing… 

Product Support 

  • Work closely with local and offshore managers to ensure that project deliverables are met with high quality in supporting the Clinical Trials Intelligence module 
  • Present at conferences in Europe and abroad utilizing data analysis from our platform 
  • Oversee and implement methods and processes for data collection from a range of information sources and to enhance the accuracy and scope of the database 
  • Support planned enhancements to the Clinical Trials Intelligence 
  • Manage quality control of the databases, including reviewing and updating the information as required 
  • Participate and subsequently manage weekly team meetings 
  • Produce clinical trial reports, analyst briefings and any other reports required by the manager/company 

Sales and Client Support 

  • Respond to client enquiries about the Clinical Trials Intelligence databases 
  • Participate in Clinical Trials Intelligence demonstrations in client and prospect meetings both on web calls and face-to-face 
  • Help sales clarify and implement customer expectations 
  • Support the sales team 
  • Provide both protocol and procedural training 
  • Coordinate and work closely with the India team to ensure that project deliverables are met with high quality 

What we’re looking for… 

  • A graduate degree (MSc) in Life Sciences, or equivalent 
  • An understanding of clinical development within pharmaceutical drug pipelines and drug development processes 
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • Expertise in using Excel and ability to produce PowerPoint presentations 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • A focus on quality, process improvements and attention to detail 
  • Must be a team player and possess the ability to work well with global teams 
  • Willingness to travel overseas if necessary 
  • Experience in client interactions (written, verbal by web meetings, face to face) is desirable 
  • Experience in maintaining/managing a database will be highly desirable
