GlobalData began its journey in 2016 by combining a diverse range of well-established data and analytics providers across multiple industries. Many have decades of trusted customer relationships and values that foster innovation and entrepreneurship.

Today, we operate as a single company, serving over 5,000 customers. We still strive for an environment that brings out the entrepreneurs in all of us; however, we believe in the power of collaboration and have grown into a trusted, global business with the scale, data, analytics, and insights that empower us to achieve so much more.

Employee Resource Groups

Our three DE&I Employee Resource Groups - GenderBalance, EmbRace, Pride - are Company sponsored and employee-driven communities which help ensure that employees with shared characteristics, experiences and interests have a platform and safe space to voice their opinions, learn about diversity and inclusion challenges within GlobalData and externally, and guide organisational practice and the prioritisation of initiatives.

Our Communities

Charitable organizations have been put under tremendous pressure by the pandemic and we are proud to have worked with some amazing charity partners to support their work.

Our Philanthropy ERG provides financial resources, time and skills to support causes that are important to our employees and integral to our local communities. We have recently taken steps towards initiating a charity donation matching program, and our employees will soon be able to participate in our volunteer programs.

Professional Development

Through our job families and architecture project, we are providing employees and recruitment candidates with a clear path, or choice of paths, for their GlobalData career.

Employees can aim to move up a level within their function, make a lateral move with new responsibilities, or move into an entirely new business area.

Mapped to these career paths, we are developing new competency frameworks that translate our values and desired behaviors into specific day-to-day knowledge and practical skills relevant to employees in each function across GlobalData. These competencies also reflect our D&I agenda.

Early Professionals

GlobalData supports students navigating the earliest stage of their careers, and each year we offer over 50 paid internships, based mainly in London.

Our Graduate Analyst Program provides permanent roles for early professionals with the potential to fast track and become GlobalData leaders of the future. Participants work on our exciting Thematic Intelligence service.

Due to its success, we have also launched a Customer Success Graduate Program.

The latest addition is our Trainee Journalist Program, providing aspiring journalists the opportunity to write for our network of GlobalData owned business to business media sites, all of which are under different industry recognised brands

This community creates relevant, freely accessible intelligence-led news and in-depth editorial on the world’s largest industries underpinned by our proprietary business intelligence.
