The role…

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network & Desktop Support Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in supporting Cisco network devices, Wi-Fi devices, and Windows-based systems. The role involves ensuring stable network operations, quick issue resolution, and effective support for end users and IT teams. The candidate will be responsible for network and desktop support and troubleshooting while ensuring adherence to security policies and best practices.

What you’ll be doing

  •  Provide day-to-day support for network infrastructure including Cisco routers, switches, internet and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VLAN, Knowledge of VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN)
  • Manage and support enterprise Wi-Fi networks, including access points, and wireless security
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and network security issues. Familiarity with network security devices such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure gateways.
  • Provide Windows support, including Windows OS installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting
  • Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
  • Knowledge of AV/ EDR. Respond to incidents and service requests within defined SLAs
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices. Coordinate with internal teams for escalation and resolution
  • Work with vendors and internal teams for issue resolution and escalations.
  • Assist in vulnerability assessment, patching, and remediation activities
  • Basic knowledge and troubleshooting of O365, Azure/Entra ID, outlook, online exchange, MS Teams, Zoom and OneDrive.

What we’re looking for…

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in network and system support
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, IP addressing, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, and routing concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with routers and switches (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, or similar)
  • Hands-on experience managing Wi-Fi infrastructure.
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
  • Basic understanding of firewalls and network security concepts.
  • Experience in supporting Windows OS and Windows Server environments
  • Working knowledge of Win 10/11 troubleshooting, Office 365, Autopilot, Teams, OneDrive and desktop troubleshooting.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

  • Cisco certification (CCNA or equivalent)
  • Experience with wireless security standards (WPA2/WPA3, 802.1x)
  • Exposure to firewall technologies and network security concepts is must.
  • ITIL knowledge or experience in service management environments is preferred.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to work in shifts or on-call support, if required
  • Provide operational support for network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
