The role…
This role sits within our marketing solutions offering and as a senior writer you will be working within an established creative team that devise and deliver award-winning content for a portfolio of clients across a network of industry-leading B2B websites.
This is a role that covers some of the biggest industries on the planet, including pharmaceuticals, energy, FDI, transport, and technology.
The successful candidate must have a proven track record of being able to take complex issues and subjects and turn them into engaging features. There is a huge variety in this role and it offers a chance to meet clients’ expectations through creative, compelling copy. You will need to be an excellent writer with demonstrable expertise in B2B writing.
You will work closely with colleagues across strategy, digital, insight and SEO. You will be responsible for creating the stories that matter to target audiences. Supported by a network of editors and analysts, you will work with clients to deliver a broad range of thought-leadership features, data articles, case studies, and more.
What you’ll be doing…
- Producing insightful written content for a diverse business audience, across multiple formats, including commercial features, whitepapers, email copy, and other marketing materials
- Liaising with lead editors and client stakeholders to help deliver content
- Ensuring everything we publish has a consistent tone of voice, is easy to understand and is insight-rich
- Interviewing subject matter experts
- Copy editing, subbing and repurposing content, as well as uploading approved content to our network of sites
What we’re looking for…
- Experience working with commercial clients on content creation
- Excellent writing and proofing skills, and the ability to spot a great story
- Experience in a client-facing role
- Strong track record of working as part of a team
- Previous experience of delivering content to set deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, preferred
- Good commercial awareness of the markets we operate in
- Willing to travel nationally/internationally on occasion
